My Dear Enemy is a band comprised of four hard working individuals, who are dedicated to writing good, intelligent music to perform and entertain. The band has a very distinct sound, which does not conform to current fads or trends. The music that My Dear Enemy composes and performs transcends genres that reach broad audiences. They like to give the audience a performance that truly rocks with their solid music style & melodies that have liberated themselves from the box.
"More about the music-it's all original, there are a lot of dynamics, key shifts, and timing variances- amidst the blasting guitar riffs and all-out drum bashing, the lyrics are profound, with sardonic viewpoints of current observations." (North Coast Voice Magazine, Sage Satori) Most importantly to My Dear Enemy is creating music that is "ferocious delivering powerful lead vocals and a precise guitar style with intense resonance, aggressive bass and drums, giving their fans a change from every day music.
The band is from Ashtabula, Ohio and looking to spread throughout the surrounding areas. They have played and are booked in venues all over Ohio including; Akron , Cleveland , Youngstown, , Willoughby , Geneva , and Madison . My Dear Enemy wants to play the music they love for as many people as possible. The band plays a full hour worth of original material. They are also currently recording their debut CD entitled 21 Grams. It should be completed by October of 2007. All My Dear Enemy songs are copyrighted 2006-07.
