A beautiful old white turn of the century home with acres of landscaping surrounding it. A large portion of the land owned by the Hoovers was donated to Walsh University students for their sporting use. As my husband attended this school after we were married, we frequented the area often and this home once. I can't remember how much admission cost but it was comparable to any other walk-through type attractions. The house has been remarkably kept up and restored to its original elegance. Each room is decorated with original household belongings and antique decor from the period. Your tour host will give you the history of the Hoover family and ours answered quite a few questions that were aside from their regular tour. There is a huge parking lot to the left of the house so you don't have to worry about traffic. If, by chance, you are parked at Walsh University across the street, you can also access this home via the underground tunnel. Closed in the winter, so visit spring/s

If you find yourself and your family bored on a rainy day, then I would highly recommend this place. It won't keep you busy for hours, but it will kill a little time during the day and has some interesting spots. This is not a place to take small children! The will get bored and there are alot of artifacts that they could get their hands on and break.
