Galaxy Restaurant in Wadsworth is worlds away from typical
At first glance, Galaxy Restaurant in Wadsworth appears to be a typical eatery. But walking through the door of this impressive establishment will have you wondering if it's suffering from a serious case of schizophrenia. Is it a fine restaurant? A classic banquet hall? A trendy sports bar? An intimate wine-tasting room? A specialty food shop? A bistro-style cafe? Or is it a fabulous amalgamation of everything?
Of course, it's the latter-- and we wouldn't change even one of this establishment's multiple personalities. From the chic ambiance of the formal dining room to the relaxed atmosphere of the sports lounge, Galaxy truly has an offering for every mood.
If you're looking for a fine restaurant for a date or to impress the in-laws, the dining room at Galaxy is the perfect choice. The sesame-crusted Ahi tuna loin, complete with wasabi, pickled ginger, sweet soy and jasmine rice ($21.95) will certainly leave a good taste in your mouth. If you're looking for a meatier meal, the 12 oz. House Prime New York strip steak ($24.95) is sure to please.
For a more laid-back meal, head on over to the sports bar. While it's certainly more relaxed than it's dining room cousin, it's still got a touch of flare that exudes class. Keep track of plays on one of the many flat-screen televisions as you enjoy an ice-cold German or Irish lager and munch on a delicious sandwich or burger. You just have to try the filet steak sandwich-- a tasty combination of beef tenderloin, sliced onion and a savory sauce on toasted rye bread. The Bleu Moon burger, which features sauteed mushrooms, bleu cheese and brandy mayonnaise, is also a mouth-watering choice.
Galaxy also offers full-service catering and four banquet hall that are great for wedding receptions, graduation parties, or any other event. The largest of the rooms has a capacity of 500 guests, so events both large and small are welcome. Of course, Galaxy caters the events on-site. The delicious cuisine never fails to impress guests.
The Cafe Market, a small shop and cafe that offers gourmet coffees, candies and pastries, is also on-site. Sit back and relax with a creamy latte or take home a bag of Galaxy's freshly-ground coffee beans so you can make your own at home.
Free WI-FI internet service is available throughout the facility to all customers. An lavish outdoor patio is also available for summertime lunches and dinners. Live music, wine tastings and themed party events take place on a regular basis.
