Laser Quest: fun for kids aged 7 to 77
May 13, 2010
Akron's Laser Quest entertainment center might look like it is a place for kids, but in reality, it is a place for everyone. Sure, the popular activity is prevalent among the teen and pre-teen population, but many adults admit that they have had their share of fun while playing laser tag at Laser Quest in Akron. That doesn't mean, however, that the kids can't have a little fun, too.
Players don an electronic vest and are given a laser "gun". Special mechanisms in the vest track and record the number of times a player is hit by another player's "gun" as the player tries his best to "hit" the other players during the 25 to 30 minute game. At the end of the game, a print out is generated and the hits are tallied, which provides each team with an itemized list of hits and calculates the winners. This exercise can foster teamwork, but it's also a heck of a lotta' fun.
This 10,000+ square foot facility boasts multiple levels for maximum playing action. A backdrop of vibrant glowing colors and blacklights, fog machine fog clouds and heart-pounding music make the Laser Quest experience fun and exciting.
Laser Quest offers birthday parties for kids aged 7 and up. Party facilities allow guests to eat lunch or supper (which can be brought in from the outside or purchased from the snack center inside the facility). Prices start at just $13 per person, and it's hard to think of a better venue for a birthday party than Laser Quest. The kids (and adults!) will simply love it.
In addition to parties, Laser Quest is also a great place for corporate events. Treat your employees to a game of laser tag to build teamwork skills and utilize the center's facilities for meetings or luncheons. It's a win-win combination.
