Piatto Novo: distinguished cuisine in a breathtaking atmosphere
Apr 8, 2010
Located on the banks of the Cuyahoga River, Piatto Novo Restaurant is situated at the perfect spot to take in the beauty of the river's waterfalls. Three several-story-high windowed walls inside the impressive facility assure that guests can take in the true ambiance of the setting; a romantic destination that leaves guests breathless.
Voted the most romantic restaurant in the Cleveland area by City's Best (an AOL company), Piatto Novo is sure to impress even the most critical of guests. Of course, the grand view wouldn't be complete without a grand meal to accompany it-- and Piatto Novo delivers consistently here, too.
Imagine the company of a loved one, soft candlelight, white tablecloths, quiet music and the restless lull of the falls as you enjoy a glass of imported Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon and a plate of antipasto together. Could it be anymore romantic?
In addition to antipasto, which features a Tuscan salami and olive tapenade over crostini with marinated feta cheese, Piatto Novo offers a wide variety of other delicious appetizers. Jumbo shrimp cocktail, grilled calamari with tomatoes, onion and basil; a grilled portobello mushroom cap stuffed with spinach, red peppers, chickpeas, tomato coulis and asiago cheese; and freshly-made lobster bisque soup are also among the available options.
For your main course, try the Fettuccini Berese-- a delightful combination of tender pasta, sausage, broccoli, caramelized onions and asiago cheese; an eight-ounce filet mignon with fingerling potatoes; Veal Palmero with grilled zucchini, capers, butter and parsley; or wild-caught salmon with a horseradish crust and green beans. The Chicken Arrosto, which features half a roasted chicken with lemon confit and fingerling potatoes, is also an excellent choice.
For dessert, the Chocolate Fantasia, a flourless chocolate cake with panna cotta and creme Anglaise, or the creme brulee with fresh berries are among the most popular choices. A variety of sweet ports and Madeira are also available.
Breakfast and lunch are also served. Business dress is required. For reservations, click here.
